Birth Doula Services 

We offer four packages for our birth doula services.  We also custom tailor packages to your needs and desires.

# 1 THE ULTIMATE  PACKAGE FOR A PAINLESS CHILDBIRTH

This package is designed to begin no later then at 30 weeks of gestation

6 hypnotherapy sessions

Get in unison with certified clinical hypnotherapist Giuditta Tornetta and release the deep-seated worries and fears you have about becoming a mother and about  labor and delivery.  Prepare yourself for a  painless experience.  Work on your Nine Basic Human Rights (from our book Painless Childbirth) and release fears and anxieties about the upcoming birth, heal the past and prepare for an empowered future. Birthing is like running a marathon the more you train the better and stronger you will become. 

  Hypnosis CD delivered at the first home visit.

Soothing self-hypnosis CD designed to be listen to every night before you give birth, preparing you for a natural and painless childbirth. Copy of the book Painless Childbirth

Conversations with the unborn child (through hypnosis included with hypnotherapy)

Establish a bond with your unborn child immediately.  You’ll be working together during labor and delivery.  Create a plan with your baby for an easer and painless childbirth.

Unlimited phone calls before labor and delivery

That’s right unlimited, because you have so many questions and your care provider has no time to answer them all. Get answers for all your questions with someone who will spend as much time as you need explaining all medical gibberish. (If we don’t have the answers we will find them for you from our medical support team.)

Prenatal Visits  (two)

In addition to your hypnotherapy sessions you will have two prenatal visit. One you'll have a tailored childbirth education class and planning for the actual day of labor and delivery in the comfort of your home. The second visit is a baby care, lactation and baby equipment review.  You'll learn about how to understand your baby's language, how to respond to them and how to talk and play with your new born.

Post-partum home visits (two)

Giuditta is a  Lactation Educator (breastfeeding expert) who will help you perfecting the latch-on technique for breastfeeding.  Answer all your new baby questions.  Offer alternative and natural methods to any non-medical problem like pumping, milk production, gas etc.  Expert in "The Happiest Baby On the Block" techniques to calm your baby in a few short minutes. Review your diet and nutrition to insure a good breastfeeding experience (ms Tornetta is a gourmet chef ). . Refresh your baby care techniques.  Get answers to your questions.

Referrals

Looking for a supportive care provider or midwife?  We offer several referrals for doctors, midwives, pediatricians, therapists, lactation consultants, 

neonatal CPR instructors, baby proofing home specialists, mommy and me support groups, classes, and fun activities.

Daily Inspirations via e-mail

Your daily conversation with your doula is available right at your finger tips.  Daily you will read a message of hope, love and inspiration preparing your you for the sacred event.

Spinning

 We have been trained in spinning babies, an ancient form of naturally spinning a posterior baby into an anterior position for easer and gentle birth.

# 2 PAMPERING PACKAGE   DESIGNED FOR FIRST TIME PREGNANCY

Weekly telephone conversations after 36 weeks of pregnancy

Two prenatal visits home. Daddy coaching - Baby care

Childbirth education classes in the comfort of your home. (4 to 5 hours in two to three visits). We will create together an action plan to promote a peaceful - worry-free labor and birthing environment.  You will feel comfortable and prepared on what to expect during labor and delivery at home and at the hospital. Daddy will learn how to be the best doula there is.  Daddy will learn the three Rs: relaxation / rhythm / ritual   How to support emotionally and physically the mommy-to-be.  Learn how to communicate with the medical staff with love and respect to get your desires met with a smile.  Also learn baby care – crying coping techniques – daddy’s role in childcare -  belly button care – what is normal in a new born, and much, much more.

DESIGNED FOR SECOND OR MORE PREGNANCY

Initial phone consultation at no cost

Prenatal visit at your home

Together we will create an action plan to promote a peaceful - worry-free labor and birthing environment.  You will feel comfortable and prepared on what to expect during labor and delivery at home and at the hospital.

 Continuous labor support home or hospital

You will benefit by having a doula answer all your questions about any and all procedures during your entire stay at the hospital.  You will receive constant emotional and physical support to manage the labor waves.

Self-hypnosis CD home program (5 CDs and one video)

Assistance with breastfeeding immediately after birth

You will have immediate assistance for a successful latch on creating an instantaneous bonding with your child.

Hypnosis during labor and delivery

Experience painless childbirth with hypnosis.  You will be able to manage the waves of contraction with a shooting hypnotic voice guiding you through each and every laboring pressure.  Enjoy a gentle and relaxing massage.

#4     PAMPERING SPECIAL

DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO NEED A LITTLE BIT MORE POSTPARTUM CARE 

Three prenatal visits. Childbirth education, lactation education, baby care classes plus hypnosis session

Unlimited phone calls before labor and delivery

Labor and delivery staying with you and baby two hour following birth.

Post-partum care 20 hours (massage, gourmet cooking included regular $45 per hour)
