Month 6
This is the month you focus on your vision
Your child 24 – 28 weeks
YOUR BABY NOW
Your baby is between twelve and fifteen inches long and weighs approximately two pounds. His eyes open and close, and his vocal cords are functioning. His lungs are filled with amniotic fluid, and he has started breathing motions. If you talk or sing, he can hear you. If you shine a bright light on your belly, he will be able to notice the change. Babies use their hands to shields their eyes. You will feel him pedaling and pushing his feet against your belly. You can play a tapping game with him: tap gently on your tummy, then wait a few minutes and he will tap back.
The right to see and be seen
The world as we see it and as we perceive it, is revealed as our own creation. Vision and acceptance are intertwined with our intentions. We let go of our need to be seen according to other people’s rules. We learn to show ourselves for who we really are, and by seeing ourselves as a beautiful expression of the divine, ready to see the beauty in others, we give life to an artist.
