In 1993 Giuditta Tornetta received a certification for Hypnotherapy. In 1995, she was initiated in Transcendental Meditation and harnessed both experiences through her work as a Doula. She has worked in hospital labor and delivery rooms, and home environments, attending and assisting with births. Ms. Tornetta is a birth and postpartum doula, a lactation educator, a clinical hypnotherapist, a NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) practitioner, and a certified shiatsu therapist.

In 1984, Giuditta Tornetta experienced a painless childbirth firsthand when she delivered her daughter in her own home with the support of a midwife and the powerful use of meditation, ancient Hindu Mantras, and hypnosis tools, that in sum she has now devoted her life to sharing with other women. This riveting experience inspired her to dedicate her life to helping women obtain a painless and natural childbirth.

Giuditta is a published author of the bestselling book “Painless Childbirth: An Empowering Journey Through Pregnancy and Birth” (Cumberland Publishing 2008) and “Conversations With The Womb” (Balboa Press 2014).

Giuditta practices clinical hypnotherapy and a method of natural childbirth that uses hypnotic techniques to reduce stress and fear during labor and delivery, alleviating pain and making the birth experience positive and enjoyable. She also teaches healthy infant mental, emotional, and cognitive health and development.

She focuses on infant mental health and pre-birth bonding, where she uses guided meditations and visualizations to help women communicate and empower their babies before birth.  These hypno-therapeutic techniques are also used throughout pregnancy for maternal/prenatal stress reduction, self confidence, relaxation, strength, and generally increasing positivity.

â€‹In the last twenty-five years, Giuditta Tornetta has dedicated her life to embracing the realm of the Goddess, awakening the creative power within, and helping women empower themselves and take charge of their body’s Divine cycles.  She works on women’s issues: from the menstrual cycle, as the doorway into womanhood; to conscious procreation, pregnancy, and birthing; from unleashing the creative artist within; to weight management, menopause, and chronic pain.
